Monaco is gearing up to celebrate its beloved National Day, or La Fête du Prince, with a lineup of impressive events honoring Prince Albert II and the rich history of the Principality. This year’s festivities combine tradition and innovation, drawing the community together with a week of celebratory activities leading up to November 19th.
The excitement begins on Wednesday, November 13th, with an afternoon celebration for children at the Espace Léo Ferré. From 2:30 pm to 6 pm, young attendees (aged 2 to 14) can enjoy a variety of games, bouncy castles, workshops, and treat stands.
A major highlight will be the spectacular drone light show set for the evening of Monday, November 18th, where 800 drones will illuminate Monaco’s skyline at 8 pm. A designated viewing area on Quai Albert Ier will be available for invited guests. Afterward, Nicoletta and a gospel choir will perform an intimate concert at Espace Léo Ferré at 9 pm, open to adults and accompanied children aged 10 and above.
The festivities continue on National Day, Tuesday, November 19th, with a concert by singer Liane Foly at Espace Léo Ferré at 6 pm. Meanwhile, the traditional Condamine Market festivities will offer local specialties in the morning and live entertainment from 7:30 pm.
In addition, Port Hercule’s fairground attractions will remain open until 1 am on the evening of November 18th, and an exclusive performance of Puccini’s La Bohème by the Opéra de Monte-Carlo will be held at the Grimaldi Forum on National Day.
Tickets for the main events will be distributed at the Espace Léo Ferré and Mairie de Monaco on November 5th for Monegasques, and on November 6th and 7th for residents.
