In a city long associated with luxury, elegance, and a deep-rooted cultural tradition, the return of New Moods marks more than just the reopening of a concert hall. It signifies a revival - one that blends Monaco’s historic grandeur with the timeless power of live music.
Nestled in the heart of Monte-Carlo’s Place du Casino, New Moods reopened its doors in December 2024 after more than a decade of silence. In just three months of operation, it reestablished itself as a staple of Monégasque nightlife. Now, from October 2, 2025 to March 28, 2026, the intimate venue embarks on a new season, offering 34 tribute concerts honoring some of the most iconic names in rock and French music.
Leading the lineup is an Elton John tribute, setting the tone for a season that also celebrates the sounds of U2, Queen, David Bowie, Coldplay, and The Beatles - alongside homages to French legends like France Gall, Claude Nougaro, and Téléphone. The venue’s seating capacity - 120 seated and 200 standing - ensures an atmosphere that remains personal, immersive, and deeply connected to the music.
New this year, a gastronomic collaboration with the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo introduces a menu designed by Chef Victor Marion. His creations - from truffle Croque-Monsieur to lobster brioche - are paired with cocktails like the “Big Moods” and “Triple Margarita”, infusing the experience with both culinary and creative flair.
But New Moods is more than a concert hall. It is a cultural gesture. The venue is the realization of a promise made by Stéphane Valeri, Président-Délégué of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, to revive a space that once spotlighted emerging rock and folk talent between 2008 and 2011. Today, it stands under the direction of Stéphane Lobono, with artistic curation by Alfonso Ciulla, reaffirming the Société’s commitment to live music and festive tradition - a heritage dating back to the creation of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo in 1879.
The venue will also offer family programming - including a children’s Halloween event on October 29 - and will open exceptionally during the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco, from June 5 to 7, 2026.
In an era of digital overstimulation, New Moods offers something that is increasingly rare: the immediacy of live performance, the warmth of shared experience, and a genuine tribute to musical artistry. Monaco’s identity has always been linked to celebration, refinement, and culture. With New Moods, it reaffirms that legacy - with style, and with sound.
