On Friday, August 29, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was welcomed to the Presidential Palace in Vilnius by President Gitanas Nausėda of Lithuania, underscoring a moment of deepening diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

During their discussions, the two heads of state focused on strengthening bilateral ties across several sectors, including the economy, culture, tourism, and sport. The leaders also emphasized the growing role of digital tools in advancing healthcare, reflecting a shared interest in harnessing technology for public well-being.

Climate change, a longstanding priority for both Monaco and Lithuania, was at the center of the talks. The principality and the Baltic state reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative efforts in addressing the global environmental crisis.
