In a gesture embodying peace, dialogue and sustainability, the olive tree from the Monaco Pavilion has extended its presence in Japan beyond the conclusion of Expo 2025 Osaka.
Originally delivered to the city of Osaka on its national day during the exposition, the tree was replanted on Nov. 6, 2025, at the site of the International Horticultural Exposition of 1990, in the location of the former Monaco plot.
This symbolic act prolongs the spirit of the Monaco Pavilion beyond Expo 2025.
