In 2026, the Principality’s racing calendar extends beyond a single marquee weekend into a sequence of three major events: the Grand Prix Historique (April 24-26), the Monaco E-Prix (May 16-17), and the Formula One Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco (June 4-7). Together, they mark a sustained period during which the city reorganizes itself around the demands and rituals of motor sport.
Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, a long-standing partner of the Automobile Club de Monaco, accompanies each of these events, integrating its venues into the broader rhythm of the races. Restaurants across its properties operate in close proximity to the circuit, offering access points that align dining with the live progression of competition.
Among them are Pavyllon Monte-Carlo at the Hôtel Hermitage and the terraces of Le Louis XV-Alain Ducasse and Le Grill at the Hôtel de Paris. Other locations, including the Salle Empire, the Bar Américain, Em Sherif Monte-Carlo, the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, L’Hirondelle at the Thermes Marins, and Amazónico Monte-Carlo, remain part of the circuit’s immediate environment, with the latter opening for lunch during all three race weekends. From June 4 to 6, all restaurants within the resort follow the schedule of the Formula One Grand Prix, with dedicated lunch and dinner services.
Outside race hours, activity shifts toward nightlife venues situated along or near the circuit. La Rascasse, a long-established bar within the track layout, reopened on April 9 in a new format and resumes hosting live music and DJ sets during race periods. Additional events are scheduled at Maona Monte-Carlo on June 6 and 7, while the Sporting Monte-Carlo hosts a series of evenings at COYA Monte-Carlo featuring DJ Carmine Sorrentino.
At Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, performances are planned across the season: Quavo on April 25 during the Historic Grand Prix, followed by Mike Will Made It (June 4), Hugel (June 5), Fisher and Philipp Plein (June 6), and Black Coffee (June 7) during the Formula One weekend. Other venues, including the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, Amazónico Monte-Carlo, Selva Monte-Carlo, and the Bar Lounge of the Casino, continue late-night programming tied to the events.
The New Moods venue reopens from June 5 to 7 with three evenings featuring Coldshivers, a tribute band to Coldplay. At the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, two racing simulators are made available from May 14 to June 7, operating from Thursday to Sunday on the terrace of L’Orange Verte.
Taken together, these elements illustrate how the three Grand Prix extend beyond competition into a longer, structured period of activity. Over several weeks, Monaco’s public and private spaces align with the calendar of racing, shaping a continuous season defined as much by its setting as by the events themselves.
