A Monegasque delegation comprising the Attractiveness Department of the Prince’s Government, Monaco Private Label, the Monaco Economic Board, the Monaco Association for Financial Activities, and the Monte-Carlo SBM Group visited London to promote the Principality.
The visit, from Wednesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 13, had three main objectives. First, to convince over thirty entrepreneurs and investors interested in Monaco to establish operations and generate economic value, facilitated by a dinner organized by Monaco Private Label.
Additionally, the delegation met with investment funds and financial companies to highlight the advantages of living in Monaco. Presentations were also delivered to around sixty UK-based professionals (tax specialists, lawyers, bankers, and others) who will, in turn, promote Monaco to their clients.
The United Kingdom, an important partner with significant similarities to Monaco, especially in the financial sector, is home to one of the Principality’s largest communities, with British residents making up seven percent of Monaco's population.
After the visit, Frédéric Genta, Monaco’s Chief Officer for Attractiveness and Digital Transition, remarked, “London is an attractive city for the Principality, housing world-class entrepreneurs and investors interested in Monaco. The collaborative approach by Monaco Private Label, the Monaco Economic Board, the Monaco Association for Financial Activities, and the Monte-Carlo SBM Group once again proved effective.”
