This summer, the Monegasque Red Cross launched its inaugural Junior Academy, an initiative designed to engage youth aged 8 to 12 through interactive education and community engagement.
Tailored for children supported by the organization’s Social Service division, the week-long program combines creative workshops, nature exploration, cultural outings, and group games. Led by Red Cross volunteers, the curriculum focuses on fundamental health awareness, accident prevention, and the principles of humanitarian action.
Beyond its educational activities, the program serves as a practical mechanism for introducing young participants to core Red Cross principles while offering relief and structure for local families during school holidays.

Upon completing the week, each child earns a "Red Cross Adventurer Diploma" recognizing their participation. Following its debut session, the Junior Academy is scheduled to continue with its next cohort in August.
