Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) is set to dazzle the fashion world once again from April 22 to 26, bringing a wave of creativity and innovation to the Principality. This twelfth edition of MCFW will spotlight resort, cruise, and capsule collections from both Monegasque and international brands.
Kicking off the event, Stella Jean, a protégée of Giorgio Armani, will debut her vibrant and sunny collection. Known for her commitment to sustainability, Jean's designs will set the tone for a week dedicated to ethical fashion practices.
This year's MCFW is not just about the runway; it also aims to foster dialogue on crucial issues such as circularity, sustainability, inclusion, and diversity. The week will feature a variety of events including fashion shows, presentations, conferences, and the prestigious MCFW Fashion Awards. These awards are set to honor designers and fashion figures who have made significant contributions to ethical fashion.
Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of Monaco’s Fashion Council and the driving force behind Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, emphasized the event's dual purpose: "We are proud to support Monegasque brands while providing international designers and fashion figures with the Principality of Monaco as a prestigious platform to showcase their collections and discuss the importance of sustainable and circular fashion."
Previous editions of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week have seen luminaries such as Naomi Campbell, Alberta Ferretti, and Tommy Hilfiger grace its stages, establishing the event as a crucial date in the international fashion calendar.
This year’s lineup promises to continue this tradition, offering a unique blend of luxury and responsibility, reflecting the evolving demands of the global fashion industry towards more sustainable practices.
