In a dazzling revelation at the Sporting venue, the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival has announced its 2024 line-up, promising an eclectic mix of performances that will light up Monaco's prestigious stages from July 6 to August 16.
The festival will open with the Fight Aids Gala on July 6 at the Salle des Étoiles, featuring a performance by the group Stars 80. This event marks the beginning of a six-week extravaganza held across two of Monaco’s most famed venues: the Opéra de Monte-Carlo’s Salle Garnier and the Salle des Étoiles.
Notable in the line-up, Grammy Award-winning artist Sam Smith is set to perform on July 9 at the Salle des Étoiles. Smith is known for hits such as "Unholy," "Too Good at Goodbyes," and "Stay with Me," and is expected to draw a large crowd.
On July 16, the festival will host Diana Krall at the Salle Garnier. Krall, renowned for her influential jazz music, will offer a night of classic and soothing melodies.
The Gala de la Croix-Rouge on July 19 will see Jamiroquai take center stage at the Salle des Étoiles. This invite-only event promises to mix philanthropy with the band's signature funk and acid jazz vibes.
Other highlights include a performance by the legendary band Duran Duran on July 25, and a groundbreaking show by comedian Trevor Noah on July 29, marking the first time a stand-up act features at the festival.
The festival will also showcase diverse international talents such as Lebanese singer Myriam Fares and the Italian operatic pop trio Il Volo, performing on August 2 and August 3, respectively.
Jorja Smith is set to perform on August 14 at the Salle Garnier, leading up to the festival's climax with American rock icon Lenny Kravitz, who will perform on the final two nights, August 15 and 16, at the Salle des Étoiles.
