The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival, running from July 5 to August 15, 2025, brings major musical acts to Monaco’s premier venues, reinforcing the Principality’s status as a cultural hub. This year’s lineup, featuring Santana, Scorpions, and a Jean-Jacques Goldman tribute by Goldmen, pairs entertainment with social impact, highlighted by a charity event for Fight Aids Monaco.
The festival began on July 5 at Salle des Étoiles, the Sporting Monte-Carlo’s rooftop venue, with a gala supporting Fight Aids Monaco. Founded by Princess Stéphanie in 2004, the organization focuses on H.I.V. prevention, awareness, and support. The event, featuring a performance by artists not yet disclosed, raised funds for local and global initiatives, underscoring the festival’s commitment to philanthropy.
Santana, known for blending rock, salsa, and blues, will perform at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo, a historic venue seating just over 500. Scorpions, the German rock band behind “Wind of Change,” are scheduled for Salle des Étoiles in August, delivering their signature hard rock. Goldmen’s tribute to Jean-Jacques Goldman, a French music icon, will offer fans a setlist of his hits.
Under Prince Albert II’s patronage, the festival reflects Monaco’s ability to merge global talent with civic purpose. By hosting acts across genres while supporting causes like Fight Aids Monaco, it demonstrates how culture can drive both enjoyment and change.
