The 65th anniversary edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival concluded its annual run at the Grimaldi Forum’s Salle des Princes with the presentation of the Golden Nymph Awards (Nymphes d'Or). The closing ceremony brought together an audience of the public, press, and industry professionals to honor the 2026 laureates selected from the festival's Official Selection.
The evening's proceedings were co-hosted by the journalist and presenter Louise Ekland alongside the actor Ricky Whittle. Designed to recognize creativity and excellence within the international audiovisual landscape, the annual Golden Nymph awards are bestowed upon top tier global television and media productions.
A primary highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Crystal Nymph (Nymphe de Cristal) to the veteran actor Kurt Russell. The honorary award was given in recognition of his career in both cinema and television.

The festival also turned its focus toward the industry's future, honoring the British actor Matthew Broome with the Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent (Meilleur espoir), a distinction recognizing his emerging career and professional trajectory.
