Music and Diamonds: BIG Art Festival Shines in Monaco

Few places can marry glamour and artistry quite like Monaco, and this summer the BIG Art Festival once again reminded everyone why the Principality is a magnet for the world’s cultural elite. Over two dazzling evenings in August, the festival brought together international stars, haute cuisine, and an audience that sparkled as brightly as the Mediterranean backdrop.

The festivities opened on August 18, when pop sensation Zivert lit up the stage with a performance that was pure electricity. Known for her vibrant energy and infectious hits, she had the crowd on its feet from the first notes of Life and Beverly Hills. The production itself was a showstopper — bold lighting, impeccable sound, and sleek visuals that wouldn’t have been out of place in Las Vegas or Ibiza. Among the guests were art collectors, entrepreneurs, and Riviera regulars who flew in especially to catch the show, turning the concert into a bona fide social event.

Just days later, on August 21, the mood shifted to romance and nostalgia as the Yacht Club de Monaco welcomed the inimitable Valery Meladze. His velvet voice and timeless ballads struck a chord with several generations of listeners, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and grand. Guests, seated at elegantly dressed tables, savored fine cuisine while being serenaded under the Monaco night sky.

As if the evening needed more sparkle, Spanish jewelry house Carrera y Carrera presented a selection of exclusive pieces, adding an extra layer of glamour to the occasion.

What makes the BIG Art Festival so compelling is its ability to weave together music, luxury, and society into a seamless experience. These were not just concerts, but curated evenings where artistry met refinement, where every detail — from the stage design to the champagne service — spoke to Monaco’s reputation as a global capital of style.

By the end of both nights, it was clear: the BIG Art Festival had delivered another triumph. For the Principality, it wasn’t simply about hosting headline acts — it was about creating moments that capture the very essence of Riviera life: elegant, unforgettable, and always a little larger than life.
