Travelling between the French Riviera and Canada will become easier next summer, with Air Canada introducing a new direct service between Nice and Toronto.
The seasonal route will launch on 16 June 2027, connecting Nice Côte d’Azur Airport with Toronto Pearson twice a week until 23 October. Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays aboard an Airbus A330-300.
For travellers from Monaco and across the Côte d’Azur, the new connection provides another direct option for reaching Canada without travelling through Paris or another European hub. It also opens up convenient connections beyond Toronto to destinations throughout North America.
Toronto Pearson is Air Canada’s largest hub, with connections to more than 150 destinations in Canada and abroad. Passengers arriving from Nice will be able to continue their journeys across Canada and the United States, as well as to destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The aircraft operating the route will offer three cabin categories: Air Canada Signature, Premium Economy and Economy.
The Toronto service will complement Air Canada’s existing flights between Nice and Montreal. According to the airline, the two routes together will provide the equivalent of a daily connection between Nice and Canada during the summer season.
It is also another step in the expansion of Nice Airport’s North American network. The Toronto route will become its third direct connection to Canada and will bring the airport’s announced long-haul network to 18 routes, 11 of them serving North America.
Air Canada’s relationship with Nice dates back to 2014, and the latest addition reflects growing demand for direct transatlantic travel from the Riviera.
For Monaco residents, the route offers an especially practical new gateway to Canada and beyond, with Toronto now joining Montreal among the destinations directly accessible from Nice.
Tickets for the summer 2027 service are already on sale through Air Canada and travel agencies.
