Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has unveiled an ambitious transformation of its retail and service offering, introducing a new luxury shopping experience inspired by the lifestyle and elegance of the French Riviera.
Following eighteen months of renovation, the airport has completely redesigned approximately 6,300 square metres of commercial space across its scheduled and business aviation terminals. The project includes 42 retail and service outlets, creating an environment that reflects the character of the Côte d’Azur, from Saint-Tropez and Monaco to the Italian border.
The redevelopment forms part of the airport’s wider vision to position itself not only as the gateway to one of Europe’s most desirable destinations, but also as a testing ground for the future of travel. The new concept combines premium retail, innovative services and a strong sense of place, offering visitors an experience that feels distinctly Mediterranean from the moment they arrive.
A key focus of the project is French craftsmanship and luxury. Travellers can now discover an expanded selection of fashion, leather goods and beauty brands, including several labels available exclusively at Nice Airport among French airports outside Paris.
Sustainability also plays an important role in the new retail strategy. Among the highlights is a multi-brand luxury boutique dedicated to pre-owned fashion, reflecting the growing demand for responsible consumption and circular luxury among international travellers.
In addition to luxury shopping, the airport has enhanced its travel essentials offering and expanded its service centres to better accommodate both leisure and business passengers.
According to airport executives, the goal was to create a memorable experience that captures the colours, culture and atmosphere of the Riviera while setting a new benchmark for airport retail in France.
As visitor numbers continue to grow across the Côte d’Azur, the transformation further strengthens Nice Côte d’Azur Airport’s position as one of the region’s most important international gateways and a destination in its own right.
