Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is preparing for its busiest summer season ever, with a record 130 destinations across 47 countries set to be served throughout Summer 2026. The expanded network, the largest in the airport’s history, further strengthens the French Riviera’s position as one of Europe’s leading international travel hubs.
The new schedule includes 18 route additions, among them ten completely new destinations. Travellers departing from Nice will now have direct access to cities including Boston, Newcastle, Seville, Cork, Hanover, Bratislava, Gdansk, Billund, Funchal and Cagliari, served by airlines such as Delta, easyJet, Wizz Air, Aer Lingus, Eurowings and Vueling.
Several routes that previously operated only during the winter season will now become year-round services. Connections to Chisinau, Hurghada and Vilnius will continue throughout the year, offering greater flexibility for both leisure and business travellers.
The airport is also seeing increased capacity on several popular routes. Additional airlines will now operate services to destinations including Birmingham, Bucharest, Bordeaux, Djerba and Paris Orly, helping to meet growing demand.
One of the most significant changes concerns the Paris Orly connection. Transavia France will assume operations previously handled by Air France, offering up to eight daily flights during peak periods. EasyJet will maintain a similar frequency, while Air France continues to focus on expanding its Paris Charles de Gaulle services.
The Summer 2026 programme also marks a milestone for long-haul travel. With the launch of a new direct service to Boston, Nice Airport will offer a record 15 long-haul routes. The network now includes seven direct connections to the United States, two to Canada and six to destinations in the Middle East.
According to airport executives, the expansion reflects the growing attractiveness of the Côte d’Azur as an international destination and the confidence airlines continue to place in the region. The recent extension of Terminal 2 is expected to support this growth while enhancing the passenger experience during what promises to be a landmark summer season.
