The 25th anniversary of No Finish Line Monaco proved to be a remarkable display of resilience and generosity, despite weather-related disruptions. Participants managed to log an impressive 319,005 kilometres by the event's conclusion on Sunday, November 24th, raising €319,005 to support children in need through the Children & Future charity.
Harsh weather conditions, including high winds and rough seas, led to temporary closures of the circuit. A five-hour suspension on Thursday, November 21st, and limited access to a section near the breakwater from Tuesday to Friday posed challenges. However, the determination of the 13,947 participants, far exceeding the target of 12,000, ensured the event’s success.
Milestones and Winners
One euro for every kilometre completed formed the cornerstone of the event’s fundraising model. Since its inception, No Finish Line has contributed over €5 million to global children’s causes. This year, the men's individual title went to Ray Qi, who covered an extraordinary 800 kilometres, with Geng Lucong (730 km) and Philippe Delorme (711 km) following closely. In the women’s category, Mimi Chevillon secured her eighth win, completing 556 kilometres.
The Centre Cardio-Thoracique de Monaco emerged as the leading team with 11,796 kilometres, while Special Olympics Monaco dominated among associations, achieving 8,894 kilometres.
24-Hour Race Highlights
The French Athletics Federation-certified 24-hour non-stop race featured 177 competitors who collectively completed 12,415 kilometres. Pauline Marguet, last year’s champion, reclaimed her title with 191 kilometres, while Alain Brillat led the men’s category with 179 kilometres.
Despite the hurdles, this year’s No Finish Line underscored the spirit of perseverance and community. As organisers begin preparations for the 2025 edition, the event continues to stand as a beacon of hope and support for children worldwide.
