As the calendar turns to mid-June, the Opéra de Monte-Carlo looks back on a 2025/2026 season defined by a deep exploration of complex female figures. Reflecting on the season in April, the institution celebrated a diverse array of stories - portraying mothers, lovers, icons, muses, goddesses, and forgotten heroines - brought to life by exceptional artists.
In that official retrospective, the opera house expressed gratitude to the various individuals, including artists, technicians, and patrons, who were instrumental in the season's success. The institution emphasized that these performances were designed to resonate with the audience's imagination, highlighting the multifaceted destinies portrayed on stage.

With the 2025/2026 season having concluded, the institution has already set its sights on the future. Preparations for the 2026/2027 season are well underway, featuring a program centered on the theme of “impossible loves” - a narrative arc that the opera describes as bringing a "burning pulse" to the stage.
