Monaco's prestigious Grimaldi Forum is set to welcome the inaugural Padel Best Expo from April 7 to 9, 2024. This international event, orchestrated by the Rome-based company BSG under the leadership of CEO Roberta Ceccarelli, promises to be a vibrant celebration of the rapidly growing sport of Padel.
The expo aims to unite Padel enthusiasts, industry professionals, and fans in a grand showcase highlighting the sport's universality and the excellence of its community, both on and off the courts. "The Padel Best Expo, situated in the glamorous Principality of Monaco, seeks to spotlight Padel's expanding influence, especially tapping into the burgeoning French market," stated Ceccarelli.
This year marks the first edition of the Padel Best Expo, which is already setting a precedent for future events with its commitment to showcasing international talent and innovation. The expo will revolve around three main pillars: a comprehensive exposition of the sport, the FIP RISE MONACO of the CUPRA FIP TOUR 2024, and the second iteration of the GIVOVA FIVE PADEL CUP held within the Grimaldi Forum itself.
The Givova Five Padel Cup, a tournament within the expo, emphasizes BSG's mission to promote Padel in a holistic manner. Featuring five distinct competitions, the cup will highlight inclusivity and social cohesion, aligning with BSG's core values. From showcasing international clubs to spotlighting young talent, wheelchair athletes, and amateur female players, the tournament celebrates Padel's diversity and accessibility.
The expo will not only shine a light on Padel's sporting achievements but also leverage its platform for charitable endeavors. Notable participants include football legend Andriy Shevchenko, who will be raising funds for "Football for Ukraine". The Barbagiuans of Monaco, supported by HSH Prince Albert II and chaired by Louis Ducruet, will also compete, further emphasizing the event's blend of sport, celebrity, and charity.
A portion of the proceeds from the Padel Best Expo will benefit Fight AIDS Monaco, a charity led by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie. This collaboration underscores the event's broader social impact, using the platform of major sporting events to disseminate health messages and promote solidarity.
With the support of the Monegasque Padel Federation and the participation of international Padel professionals, the Padel Best Expo is poised to elevate the profile of Padel in Monaco and beyond. This event promises to be a landmark occasion, fostering the sport's growth, encouraging public participation, and showcasing the spirit of inclusivity that defines Padel.
