A peaceful demonstration condemning violence against children was held last evening at the Place d’Armes in the Principality of Monaco. The gathering brought together approximately 50 people, including multiple elected officials of the Principality. Among the prominent leaders in attendance were Mayor Georges Marsan and his deputy, Chloé Boscagli, who holds institutional charge of Early Childhood and Families.
The event commenced with an inaugural address delivered by the organizer, Délia Kriel. Following the speech, attendees observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of young victims of violence. The tribute concluded with symbolic choral songs and a live cello performance.

The civic rally took place against the broader backdrop of the Monegasque Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. Under this tenure, the Principality has established the protection of vulnerable populations and the systemic fight against all forms of violence as primary institutional priorities.
