German fashion designer Philipp Plein hosted a cocktail event at his Cannes villa, La Jungle Du Roi, to mark the launch of several new fragrance products under the PHILIPP PLEIN and PLEIN SPORT labels. The event coincided with the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, a major trade event in the duty-free and travel retail industry.
The brand introduced Plein Fatale Rosé Intense, a new women’s fragrance positioned as a more potent iteration of the existing Plein Fatale scent. Developed by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, the fragrance is a gourmand fruity floral composition, built around Damask Rose and incorporating lychee, blackcurrant, and amber woods. The scent is structured in three phases: Sparkling Crush, Rose Addiction, and Velvet Touch.
Two additional men’s fragrances were launched under the Plein Sport label: Dynamite and Thunder. Both are aromatic fougères, a category known for its use of lavender, woods, and citrus. Dynamite features mint, citrus, cardamom, ginger, and vetiver, aiming to evoke physical energy and confidence. Thunder includes bergamot, aquatic notes, a gin accord, and cedarwood, with a focus on athleticism and intensity.

Both Dynamite and Thunder incorporate EmotiWaves™, a proprietary scent technology claimed by the brand to activate neural pathways associated with energy and well-being.
Alongside the fragrances, Philipp Plein also showcased the SM25 eyewear collection, created in partnership with De Rigo, and a new limited-edition watch named the Crypto King, produced under license with TIMEX.
