On Nov. 7, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated the Latin America branch of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation by meeting with young entrepreneurs and students at the Armando Alvarez Penteado Foundation (FAAP) in São Paulo. The event, titled “Building Tomorrow, Together,” featured presentations from 10 Latin American innovators addressing pressing environmental issues.
The participants showcased ventures spanning forest restoration and biodiversity conservation; safe drinking water and resource preservation; sustainable food systems and waste reduction; sustainable textile fibers; advocacy for climate justice and Indigenous rights; and territorial adaptation and resilience.

In his closing remarks, the Sovereign Prince declared: “Sustainable innovation is no longer a choice. It is a necessity... It is the foundation of tomorrow’s prosperity.” The gathering aligns with its mission to foster sustainable innovation, empower young leaders and inspire collective action for a more resilient world.
