Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits Ayrton Senna Institute in São Paulo, Highlighting Educational Legacy

In a gesture underscoring the enduring ties between Monaco's royal family and Brazil's motorsport heritage, Prince Albert II of Monaco traveled to São Paulo to inaugurate the Latin American branch of his foundation. During the visit, the sovereign was welcomed at the Ayrton Senna Institute by the family of the legendary Formula 1 driver.

Following a brief welcoming address delivered in front of the famed McLaren driven by Ayrton Senna, the prince was greeted by Bianca Senna, chief executive of Senna Brands; Paula Lalli Senna; M. Bruno Senna; his nieces; and M. Ewerton Fulini, vice president of the institute.

On this occasion, the sovereign was invited to affix his signature to the official replica of the "Monaco 1987" helmet worn by the Brazilian champion.

The prince then toured a special exhibition prepared for the encounter, featuring a selection of emblematic pieces from Ayrton Senna's personal collection, notably evoking his close connections to the principality.

The visit continued with a presentation of the Senna Project, illustrating the remarkable educational and social impact of the Ayrton Senna Institute and its principal achievements.

Created by the driver and his sister, Mme. Viviane Senna-Lalli, who serves as president, the Ayrton Senna Institute is recognized as a public utility in Brazil. For many years, it has worked to advance human development and the education of young Brazilians, in partnership with businesses, public authorities, municipalities, school establishments, and universities, as well as nongovernmental organizations.
