On Saturday afternoon, Princess Charlene of Monaco officially kicked off the 26th edition of the No Finish Line, a charity race that has become a fixture of the principality’s philanthropic calendar.
Held under the high patronage of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, the eight-day event invites participants of all ages and abilities - runners, walkers, licensed athletes or casual enthusiasts - to cover as many laps as they wish on a 1.3-kilometer circuit set up around Port Hercules. There is no finish line in the traditional sense: the race continues around the clock until the following Sunday, and every kilometer completed translates directly into a €1 donation to support projects for sick or disadvantaged children.
Organized by the Monaco-based association Children & Future, the No Finish Line has raised substantial sums since its creation in 1999. The initiative relies on the tireless work of dozens of volunteers whose dedication, organizers say, is instrumental to the event’s enduring success.

As in previous years, the 2025 edition benefits from the continued patronage of the princely couple and the active involvement of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, which has long championed children’s welfare and drowning-prevention programs worldwide.
The No Finish Line will remain open 24 hours a day until Sunday, November 23, inviting residents and visitors alike to contribute - one kilometer, and one euro - at a time.
