Following a 3-2 pre-season victory over Liverpool at Anfield, AS Monaco shifted its pre-season operations to England’s Football Association headquarters at St. George’s Park in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
Under the guidance of the coaching staff, the Rouge et Blanc squad initiated a series of closed-door tactical and physical training sessions across the complex's world-class facilities. The week-long camp serves as the final intensive preparation phase ahead of their last pre-season fixture against Championship side Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena, before returning to France for the start of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign.
By utilizing the home of England's national teams - renowned for its state-of-the-art hydrotherapy, pitch engineering, and sports science amenities - Monaco continues a modern trend of top European clubs choosing the Staffordshire complex to fine-tune squad mechanics ahead of domestic and continental competition.
