Until August 31, 2024, the Prince of Monaco's car collection is hosting an exhibition that chronicles the history of Scuderia Ferrari's victories at the Monaco Grand Prix. Titled "Ferrari F1 in Monaco: History and Victories," this exhibition revisits Ferrari's journey in the Principality, which began on May 21, 1950, during the inaugural Monaco Grand Prix where driver Alberto Ascari secured second place in a Ferrari 125S. This initial success paved the way for a series of nine victories and numerous pole positions.
Among the legendary cars on display, visitors will find the SF90 driven by Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc, a recent winner in Monaco. The exhibit also features cars driven by Michael Schumacher, Niki Lauda (1949-2019), Gilles Villeneuve (1950-1982), and Sebastian Vettel. Notably, Ferrari remains the only brand to have competed in every F1 season since the sport's inception in 1950.
