The Municipality of Monaco inaugurated its annual seasonal cultural program, Les Soirées Musicales, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, launching a series of open-air public concerts designed to foster community engagement across the Principality's public spaces. The opening performance, held at Square Gastaud, was led by the musical group Salut les souvenirs, which presented a retrospective repertoire to a gathering of residents and visitors. The inaugural event was formally overseen by Deputy Mayors Marjorie Crovetto and Axelle Amalberti Verdino, representing the municipal administration's direct involvement in local civic and cultural programming.
Operating as a coordinated effort to animate diverse residential quarters during the summer months, the municipal schedule transitions between specific urban hubs. The performances are structured within a standardized timeframe, running from 19:30 to 21:30, and remain entirely free of charge to maximize public accessibility.

Following the opening event, municipal coordinators finalized an extended regional itinerary that includes a performance by Dedicate at Larvotto on July 15, followed by Baletti Coco Beach on July 22, and Bella Italia on August 5, both returning to Square Gastaud. The seasonal programming is scheduled to conclude on August 19, 2026, with a final pop-rock performance by the group Exit, cementing the local government's objective of utilizing acoustic and cultural events to anchor civic life within the urban landscape.
