In a world grappling with the escalating consequences of climate change, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has unveiled its third cohort of the Re.Generation Future Leaders Program, a visionary initiative designed to empower the next generation of environmental trailblazers. This year’s group of ten exceptional individuals, all under 37, hails from diverse corners of the globe and brings expertise in fields ranging from marine conservation to climate finance. Together, they represent a powerful collective force for a sustainable future.
The 2025 cohort includes Shirley Binder from Panama, Lefteris Arapakis from Greece, Elena Martínez Martínez from Spain, Irina Fedorenko from Russia, Xananine Calvillo from Mexico, Yara Yousry from Egypt, Ailars David from Tanzania, Célia Roussin from France, Björn Sandström from Sweden, and Adhitya Raghavan from India. Each leader is already driving meaningful change—whether through protecting marine ecosystems, advancing sustainable entrepreneurship, advocating for indigenous communities, or innovating in climate finance. Their work reflects the urgency and hope required to address the planet’s most pressing challenges.
From June 18 to June 28, these changemakers are immersed in a transformative 10-day program, engaging in leadership and communication training, masterclasses with global experts, and field visits. This intensive experience is designed to foster collaboration and equip them with the tools to amplify their impact. It marks the start of a year-long journey, supported by the Foundation and its global network of partners, to drive action and visibility for their initiatives.
The Re.Generation Future Leaders Program underscores a truth that cannot be ignored: the fight for our planet’s future depends on bold, diverse voices working together. These ten leaders embody that vision, and their efforts will ripple far beyond 2025.
