The Horizon Beckons: Port Hercule Prepares for the 35th Monaco Yacht Show

As summer reaches its zenith along the French Riviera, the maritime world turns its sights toward the Mediterranean’s most prestigious deep-water harbor. Marking two months until its opening, organizers have launched the official countdown to the 35th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), scheduled to run from September 23 through September 26, 2026, at Port Hercule.

Held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, the annual event remains the definitive global platform for mega-yacht engineering, luxury design, and naval architecture. Over four days, an estimated fleet of 120 superyachts - averaging 50 meters in length, with floating leviathans exceeding 100 meters - will line the quays of the Principality. Among them, nearly 40 vessels are set to make their official world debuts, establishing the show as the principal launchpad for the upcoming nautical season.

The 2026 edition reflects a broader shift across the superyacht sector toward environmental accountability. Anchored by the "Blue Wake" initiative - developed in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation - the exhibition highlights alternative propulsion, on-board energy management, and sustainable water treatment systems designed to reduce the ecological footprint of maritime transport. Bringing together over 560 international exhibitors and 30,000 industry leaders, the show continues to bridge high-end craftsmanship with next-generation engineering.
