The Opéra de Monte-Carlo pauses in-person operations for August, taking its audience online until fall

As the summer recess takes hold across the Principality, the Opéra de Monte-Carlo has officially entered its annual summer break, announcing temporary closures across its core venue operations and ticketing services throughout August.

According to an official announcement from the institution, the opera house itself will remain closed from August 1 through August 23, inclusive. In tandem with the seasonal intermission, the physical box office counter and the group booking service will observe extended closures, suspending in-person and specialized reservations through August 31.

Despite the temporary closure of physical facilities and phone-in reservation lines, ticket sales remain accessible. Patrons seeking to secure seats for upcoming performances can continue to make bookings online continuously via the official portal, montecarloticket.com.

Standard full service is scheduled to resume on September 1, at which point both telephone inquiries and in-person box office services will reopen to the public.
