Traditional Natale Christmas race U Giru di Natale Returns to Monaco

The highly anticipated annual U Giru di Natale Christmas race will return on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, bringing festive excitement to the streets of Monaco. Organized by the Association Sportive de la Sûreté Publique (ASSP), this 10-kilometer race offers a unique chance to run through the heart of the Principality, passing by some of Monaco’s most iconic landmarks, including the famed Formula 1 circuit.

Runners will start and finish at the Christmas Market, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and refuel after the race with festive treats. Participants will receive a commemorative technical T-shirt and could even win a helicopter ride in the raffle. Additionally, there will be ample facilities, including showers, lockers, and changing rooms, to ensure a comfortable experience. Special parking arrangements are available with a deal at the Nouvelle Digue car park.

With 2,300 bibs available for the 29th edition of the race—2,100 for the 10-kilometer event and 200 for the children's races—spaces are filling up fast. While the children’s race bibs have already sold out, there are still around a hundred spots available for the main event. Runners can pick up their bibs on Saturday, December 14th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on the morning of the race, Sunday, December 15th, until 9:45 a.m. for the 10-kilometer race.

The U Giru di Natale offers an exciting, festive challenge for athletes and families alike, all set against the backdrop of Monaco's holiday spirit.
