In an exciting development for travelers, United Airlines is set to launch direct flights between Nice and Washington D.C. beginning on May 25, 2025. The new seasonal service will offer both one-way and return flights, connecting the glamorous Côte d’Azur with the bustling capital of the United States. Operated on Boeing 767-300 aircraft, this route will provide four flights each week.
Marcel Fuchs, Managing Director of International Sales at United Airlines, shared his enthusiasm: “For summer 2025, travelers in Nice will enjoy an expanded selection of travel options, including this new direct link to Washington D.C. In addition, passengers can easily connect through our hubs in Washington D.C. and New York/Newark to access 78 destinations across the U.S.”
This new service complements the existing Nice-New York/Newark route and enhances United's commitment to the region, particularly as they also operate daily flights year-round from Paris to various U.S. cities, including New York/Newark, Washington Dulles, Chicago O’Hare, and San Francisco.
This marks a significant milestone for United Airlines, representing the most extensive international expansion in the airline’s history. The company is boosting its seat capacity on routes connecting Nice and the U.S. by over 25% for the summer of 2025, providing travelers with even more opportunities to explore the United States. Stay tuned, as tickets for these exciting new flights will be available soon!
