U.S. Ambassador Presents Credentials to Monaco’s Sovereign Prince

Charles Kushner, the newly appointed United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Principality of Monaco, formally presented his Letters of Credence to Prince Albert II on Monday, October 27, 2025, in a ceremony at the Prince’s Palace.

The event, conducted in the Salon des Glaces, marked the official commencement of Ambassador Kushner’s diplomatic mission. He was welcomed on the Place du Palais by the Prince’s Carabiniers honor guard before proceeding to the palace chamber, where he was escorted by Vincent Floréani, Chamberlain to His Serene Highness the Prince.

Present for the occasion were Princess Charlene; Yvette Lambin-Berti, Monaco’s Secretary of State; Christophe Steiner, Chief of Staff; Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of External Relations and Cooperation; and Jessica Huaracayo, Consul General of the United States.

Following the presentation, the Prince and Princess Charlene hosted Ambassador Kushner and the accompanying delegation for a luncheon at the residence of the Minister of State.
