Where Design Becomes a Way of Life: Haute Studio Monaco

MONTE CARLO - In a city known for its elegance and refined lifestyle, Haute Studio emerges as a natural extension of that spirit—offering a curated, bespoke approach and an experience steeped in timeless luxury.

Founded by Giulia Brighi — born in Italy and based in Monaco — the studio reflects her deep-rooted passion for art, music, fashion, and design. With a background shaped by a family legacy in the high-end fashion and design industries, Brighi developed her aesthetic sensibility early and carried it into the world of interiors.

After completing her studies in interior design and working in the field, Brighi launched Haute Studio in Monaco’s Carré d’Or. The studio offers bespoke interior and outdoor design services to clients worldwide, with projects ranging from private residences and yachts to boutiques, hotels, and retail spaces. Each design is approached holistically — from renovations and lighting schemes to furniture selection and contemporary art sourcing.

“We carefully select only a few brands in each category to maintain our unique and elevated vision,” Brighi says of her work and the studio’s adjoining luxury concept store, located just steps from Casino Square. The space is open to the public and features a curated collection of objects including lighting, tableware, fragrances, textiles, vintage pieces, and games, as well as works from brands such as Christofle, Richard Ginori, Flos, and others.

Haute Studio is defined by its ability to merge simplicity with richness. Dark woods, reclaimed materials, lacquered finishes, and raw textures create an ambiance that feels both grounded and luxurious. “I believe that luxury is not defined by superficial wealth but by fineness and rarity,” Brighi says.

Her instinctive approach draws inspiration from figures like Jean-Michel Frank, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Pierre Chareau, Axel Vervoordt, and artists such as Giacometti, Claude Lalanne, and Yves Saint Laurent. Influenced by travel, materials, and the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi, Brighi’s work maintains a strong personal signature.

When asked to define Haute Studio and her design philosophy in three words, she answers without hesitation: “Timeless, Simple, Bold.”
