Monaco is offering emerging talent a unique platform this summer, as the Direction des Affaires Culturelles launches the fourth edition of its open stage competition, Scène Ouverte — Les Talents du Fort.
Scheduled to take place on 10th July at the iconic Fort Antoine, the annual event provides young performers with the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a live audience under professional conditions. Open to artists aged 16 to 30, the competition welcomes a wide range of disciplines, including music, dance, theatre, circus arts and DJ performances.
This year’s edition introduces a major new incentive. One selected performer will be chosen to represent Monaco at the World Expo 2027 in Belgrade, offering international exposure on a global stage. The opportunity marks a significant step for emerging artists looking to develop their careers beyond the Principality.
The competition is open to Monegasque nationals, residents, students enrolled in Monaco, or individuals with a strong connection to the country. By maintaining an inclusive approach, the initiative aims to support and promote the diversity of Monaco’s creative scene.
Applications are open until 17th May, with forms available through the Direction des Affaires Culturelles. As in previous years, the event is expected to attract a vibrant mix of talent, reflecting the dynamic energy of Monaco’s younger generation.
With the added prospect of performing at an international event, this year’s Scène Ouverte promises to be one of the most exciting editions to date, reinforcing Monaco’s commitment to nurturing and showcasing emerging artistic voices.
